The Garrett County area is currently under a high wind warning, as an intense storm is forecasted to bring heavy rains and high winds to the region Friday through Saturday afternoon. After a cold frontal passage during Saturday evening, there will be a chance for some lake effect snow showers, however with temperatures hovering around freezing little accumulation is expcted.
